New Cylinder Dryer

We have recently replaced our old cylinder dryer, with a brand new unit. The new cylinder dryer is able to dry the cylinders quicker, and more efficiently. The drying process is part of the cylinder testing procedure, of which we are UKAS 17020:2012 accredited.

Flameskill can test all types of cylinders including; seamless steel cylinders,  seamless aluminium cylinders, welded steel cylinders and composite cylinders. We carry out cylinders testing for the fire trade including CO2, Inergen, Argonite, FM200, Novec, Nitrogen cylinders, as well as the marine and offshore industries.

Cylinder Testing

All compressed gas cylinders have to be hydrostatically tested every 10 years to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose.

Flameskill have in-house test facilities to enable us to carry out cylinder testing. We hydrostatically test and maintain fire suppression cylinders, liferaft cylinders and BA cylinders to both British BS (UKAS 17020 approved) and American DOT standard.
