Description
The 3M Scott FH6 Helmet range features a heat-resistant polyamide helmet shell, adjustable head harness, face seal, air distribution channel inside the shell and a flip-up visor frame equipped with a clear or shaded visor. Choice of visors for protection against impact, reflection, heat and infrared radiation are available.

Please note: Testing has confirmed that FH6 family headtops meet a lower Eye/Face Energy Impact Rating, including impacts at extremes of temperature, resulting in a revised overall Impact Rating of ‘FT’.
Although the facial visor protecting the wearer from frontal impact hazards meets the impact requirements of a ‘B’ rating, the visor frame that retains it, which may be subject to side impact,does not consistently do so. Ballistic testing in the region marked ‘X’ (see downloads 3m end user letter), at the speed required to attain a ‘B’ rating, on some occasions resulted in the projectile penetrating the visorframe. Medium energy impacts may typically occur during mechanical work such as grinding, drilling or cutting.
