The JB22 CAP437 Helicopter Crash Rescue Equipment Chest is manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The chest is for the CAP437 Helicopter crash rescue tools (apart from the ladder and grab hook). The chest comes complete with 316 stainless steel brackets to hold the tools in place.
The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The 316 Stainless steel hinges and lid catches are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The placement of the catches make it easy to open the lid in an emergency even when wearing gloves. The catches can be fitted with anti-tamper seals.
