The JB73FB Lifejacket/Immersion Suit Chest has a flat bottom and can be used to store foam filled lifejackets and or Immersion suits. The exact capacity depends on the types being stored. They are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection for the Ship to shore connection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The 316 Stainless steel lid catches and hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The size and positioning of the catches makes it easy for one person to open quickly in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
The lid catches can be fitted with anti-tamper seals.
